Suntera

Designed in 1994/1995 by Jonathan Tennyson (Hawaii), the Sunray is an electric vehicle with enclosed cabin. Built by the Suntera Corp, the vehicle had a fiberglass body with various prototypes featuring a half bed delivery truck; the C-Mobile and the Sunray, a two seater passenger version. One variation also had a small stakeside carrier at the rear (pictured).

Eight preproduction prototypes were built under a grant program from DARPA but never reached production due to Tennyson's death from cancer in 1997.
